No can do! You can order whatever quantity suits you best. Transport cost is charged per pallet, so whether there is 1 sleeper or 20 sleepers on a pallet, it makes no difference.
We are using a third-party haulier and the delivery charge is calculated based on your delivery postcode and the size of your order (per pallet up to 1000kg).
If you place the number of products you are interested in your basket, then add your postcode in the Shopping Basket page, our website will calculate the delivery charge.
Please note delivery prices vary depending on the size of your order.
e.g., up to 20 pcs. Oak Sleepers 2400x200x100mm you are charged for one pallet, while for 21 pcs. of Oak Sleepers you will be charged for two pallets.
We currently offer 4-7 working day delivery service, from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm excluding Bank Holidays.
Following your placed order, we will inform you on email with the date scheduled for your order to be collected by the haulier from our warehouse and an estimated delivery date.
Whilst we provide an estimated delivery date, we will always do our very best to ensure your delivery is on that timescale, but we cannot guarantee this due to matters beyond our control.
We will do our very best to keep you informed of any delays once our haulier has informed us.
All deliveries are kerb side, although our haulier will deliver closer to your delivery address if possible. When considering access, please consider width restrictions, parked cars, trees, low bridges, power lines etc.
Your order will be delivered on a pallet/s. Our haulier delivery vehicle will NOT be fitted with a crane or winch.
Please be aware that if your delivery address does not have sufficient access or the address falls within an area in which it is illegal for our delivery vehicle to park or offload, the driver will not be able to make delivery. Thus, your order will return to the depot and the haulier will attempt redelivery using a smaller vehicle. In such cases, please advise beforehand in the dedicated order note field when completing the order, in order to avoid redelivery charges.

When placing an order, it’s important to let us know if your delivery site has any specific constraints, such as narrow pathways, low bridges, or other obstacles that might hinder large vehicles. By doing so, we can coordinate with our delivery partners to possibly dispatch a more suitable vehicle for the task.
If we aren’t informed of such limitations and the delivery can’t be completed as scheduled, there might be extra costs associated with arranging a subsequent delivery attempt.
YOU are responsible for offloading the products from the vehicle and at least two people must be available to manually offload. Railway sleepers are too heavy for one person. Your order will be delivered on a pallet/s. Please be aware that our haulier delivery vehicle will NOT be fitted with a crane or winch. In case you have forklift available at the address, please inform us.
The delivery has a 30 min time allowance for offloading your order.
If you are not in the driver will not be able to deliver and you will be charged the cost of redelivery.
Someone else will need to sign for the order, but please keep in mind that at least two people are still required to offload the product.
If nobody is to sign for the order, the goods will be returned to our haulier local depot. If we cannot contact you to arrange redelivery, we will return the goods to our central depot and cancel your order. Please bear in mind that redelivery and cancellations will incur additional fees in both cases.
Yes, we offer a collection service. Please note the following details:
- Location: We use a shared facility located at Walker Industrial Park, Tuxford, NG22 0PQ.
- Collection Schedule: Collections are only available on weekdays, and you must book a timeslot with the warehouse in advance.
- Ordering Process: Once you place and pay for your order, we will send you an email with instructions on how to book your collection timeslot. It is essential that you follow this process and respect the scheduled appointment.
- No Walk-ins: We do not support walk-in sales. Kindly refrain from visiting without having first placed an order and secured an appointment.
Collection Process: Your order will be brought outside using a forklift. However, loading the items onto your vehicle is your responsibility. Please ensure your vehicle is suitable to collect the full order at once. To ensure successful forklift loading, please make sure your vehicle meets the following criteria:
- A flat floor for safe loading.
- The capability to be loaded only from one side.
- The opening width should be longer than the pallet length.
These requirements are crucial for the safe and efficient collection of your order. Please be advised that if the warehouse personnel deem the use of the forklift unsafe for any reason, they may decide against it. In such cases, you’ll need to handle the items manually. Ensure you have adequate manpower and a suitable vehicle for the collection.
